Lift Chairs

Elderly woman in red lift chair

For those who suffer from mobility-restricting disorders and neuromuscular diseases such as arthritis, obesity and muscular dystrophy, getting up from a sitting position in a traditional chair can be difficult or even impossible without help. For the elderly and people with disabilities experiencing mobility limitations, lift chairs can provide more personal freedom and self-sufficiency in their lives, allowing them to maintain their independence longer.

In appearance, a lift chair is just like a normal reclining chair, but with the advantage that a mobility-restricted person can comfortably get in and out of the chair by smoothly elevating it to a level that relieves strain on the legs and back and better suits the individual.
