In May 2016, the T/Pump operations manual and maintenance manual were revised. At that time, the statement "temperature therapy can also be for heat conservation for normothermia maintenance" was unintentionally added to the indications for use for each of these manuals.

Permobil has identified an issue related to the top plate thickness where in isolated cases this can cause the seating system to separate from the chair base. As a precaution, Permobil has voluntarily initiated a corrective action to replace necessary parts on potentially affected chairs.

How will I know if my chair is affected?
This potential issue is limited to the C300, C350, C400, and C500 with seats Corpus II, Corpus II Lowrider, and Corpus KB sold between 2011 and 2017.

Permobil is providing the replacement parts to your dealer (KHS) at no additional cost. There is no additional cost for the replacement parts.

How will I know if my chair is affected?
This potential issue is limited to the C300, C350, C400, and C500 with seats Corpus II, Corpus II Lowrider, and Corpus KB sold between 2011 and 2017. 

Your chair is safe for you to continue to use your chair in accordance with the Owner’s Manual. However, if your seat feels unstable, please contact your dealer or Permobil and discontinue use of your chair until further evaluation.

Your dealer has been provided with a list of potentially affected chairs and will be reaching out to those users directly. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your dealer or Permobil.

Product: Invacare® Pronto® Air Personal Transporter Model numbers: AIRPTMBDY18, AIRPTMBDY20, AIRPTBASE (Service Part Number: LPC12-18)  Date Recall Launched: April 2015 Invacare has recently identified a quality issue with the batteries for use in the Invacare® Pronto® Air Personal Transporter. There is a possibility that the batteries could overheat during charging. The batteries may swell or leak as a result of overheating. Swollen batteries may become non-functional and contact with leaked battery acid may result in chemical burns or property damage. Not all units identified as impacted will show signs of battery deformation.
